For Victoria Legal Aid, I designed a series of modules (4 hrs in total) about recognising the risk of family violence and suicide. The elearning program has separate pathways for lawyers and support staff. These modules offer scenario-based activities to practise with recognising the risk factors and how to respond. Several experts from other organisations, VLA employees and persons who experienced family violence and suicide share their experiences and stories in video and audio clips. Filming during COVID lockdown was done safely over Zoom. This elearning program is also available to other organisations who work with people at risk of family violence and suicide.
